Account Deletion Policy

Users may delete their account directly through:

• Profile Page — Go to your Profile and click the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the page.
• App Settings — Account deletion option is available within the mobile app.
• Support Request — Contact us at privacy@localjobsathi.com if you need assistance.

Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Once confirmed:

Candidate Accounts

• Profile, photo, and resume are permanently deleted.
• All job applications are removed.
• Saved jobs, job alerts, and contact history are deleted.
• Account access is immediately terminated.

Employer Accounts

• Business profile and all job postings are permanently deleted.
• All received applications are removed.
• Subscriptions and candidate unlock history are deleted.
• Account access is immediately terminated.

The following information is retained even after deletion, where legally required:

• Payment and Transaction Records — Retained for financial and tax compliance under applicable Indian laws.
• Security and Audit Logs — Retained for fraud prevention and security investigations.
• Legal Compliance Records — Retained where required by law or for dispute resolution.

Retained records are kept only for as long as legally necessary and are not used for any other purpose.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once your account is deleted:

• Your data cannot be recovered.
• Your account cannot be restored.
• You will need to register again if you wish to use the Platform in the future.

Please ensure you no longer require your account before proceeding with deletion.

Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation.

You will be logged out and all your data will be permanently removed from the Platform at the time of deletion.
